Whatever the day or time, if you or someone else experiences severe chest pain, loss of blood or suspected broken bones, go to your nearest accident and emergency department or call 999

If you have an urgent health care problem which cannot wait until the surgery is open, please call Shropdoc on: 111

If your injury or illness is severe, or you have had a serious accident, call 999 and ask for an ambulance.  Or you can visit your local A&E Department.

If you suspect a stroke act FAST

What is FAST?

  1. Facial weakness – can the person smile? Has their mouth or eye drooped?
  2. Arm weakness – can the person raise both arms?
  3. Speech problems – can the person speak clearly and understand what you say?
  4. Time to call 999
