Order Repeat Medication

Patients on regular medication from their GP or hospital clinic do not always need to see the doctor for a repeat of their medication. You will be issued with a computer slip attached to your prescription, detailing your medication.

IMPORTANT

From the 1st of April 2019 we changed the way you can order your repeat prescription.

  • Online access (Patient Access)
This option allows you to order your medication via a secure log-in, the prescription request goes directly to your GP, and then electronically to your chosen pharmacy or you can collect from the front desk.
If you are already registered you can click the Patient Access link below.
If not, all you need to do is come to the front desk with ID and the team will give you the necessary log-on details.
  • Prescription ordering direct (POD)
You will need to telephone a dedicated number to order your Medication, something you have not been able to do before, this is an exciting new development.
Please ring POD on 01952 580350 to order your medications.

FROM THE 1ST OF APRIL YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ORDER YOUR PRESCRIPTION VIA A PHARMACIST OR VIA EMAIL TO THE PRACTICE AS THEY WILL NO LONGER BE ACTIONED.

Your repeat prescription will usually be ready for collection from Reception 24 hours (excluding weekends or bank holidays) after you make your request, HOWEVER it is best to be prepared to give 48 hours notice if you collect from the front desk or 72 hours from your chosen pharmacy.

Remember to request your prescriptions a bit earlier before long bank holiday weekends.  We will send your prescription by post if you include a stamped addressed envelope.

Please ask at reception to register for this service, you will be given your unique Access. You can then click on the link and follow the instructions:
