Cervical Screening Awareness Month

Have you been putting off your smear test? This month is all about raising awareness around cervical screening. We have put on extra smear test clinics during June for all people with a cervix that are due their screening. Here at the practice, we know many women want to attend their smear test but don’t because of a concern they have. Our lovely nurses are aware of many of the worries people have and will do everything they can to help you feel as comfortable as possible when attending for your smear test. 

If you’ve had a reminder and not yet booked your smear test, please contact the practice to book! 

If you are not sure whether you want to have your smear test and would like to speak with a nurse about your worries, please still book an appointment and make the nurse aware that you just want an opportunity to discuss your concerns before deciding whether you want to go ahead.
