Chiropody

A chiropodist visits weekly. She will see all diabetic patients by appointment. She also operates a drop in gait clinic for children where there is concern about walking. This happens on the first Friday of each month and you will need to book an appointment to be seen. Tel:01743 277681

Visiting Doctors and Medical Students

We are an approved training practice. Each year fully qualified doctors with experience in hospital medicine who are preparing to become General Practitioners join the team and spend up to a year working with us sharing all aspects of medical care. We welcome the fresh ideas and enthusiasm they bring and we hope you will too.

We also have medical students from Keele University plus student nurses visiting the practice from time to time. If you do NOT want a student present during your consultation then please inform the receptionist. It is of course valuable experience for students to sit in on consultations but we respect your right to see a doctor or nurse on your own if you prefer.

Stirchley Dental Practice

The Stirchley Dental Practice is located on the same site as the medical practice.

It is a completely independent organisation, though we can liaise, with your consent, if there is a need. They do offer NHS dentistry, however there is a waiting list. You can contact them on: 01952 592 658

We recommend regular dental checks to avoid problems. Doctors at the medical practice are not trained in dental skills and so it is best to refer all dental problems to a dentist.

If you are not registered with a dentist, but you have a dental problem, we suggest you contact the local dental helpline on:
01952 606450

Alternatively, you can visit the West Midlands Dental Helpline:
